If you think you sound good singing do you actually sound good ?

I have always loved singing, music ect and i just can't accept the fact i was born loving singing, singing as a kid and still too this day and i can't actually sing. I was looking through questions on here and most people were saying upload something onto here because you sound different to yourself from others so let others judge.. I just hate how when you listen to yourself singing you sound soo good but when you listen to the recording its soo awful... =/ i really could not care anymore lol so here is a link to me singing... can i sing/do you think i would be good with help... i was not putting much effort into this song just sang it too link =] DON'T BE TOO HARSH.

It's frustrating isn't it? Always sounds different on camera. I think our voices just sound different when we hear them from inside our own heads versus what everyone else hears. But don't think of it as a bad thing, just think of t as a way to fix the flaws and make it better. You can't improve without knowing what the problem is. :) I couldn't watch all of the video, because someone turned on the tv but it sounds a little bit nasally and timid. Work on opening your throat to make a clearer sound and don't be afraid to just sing. It will ALWAYS sound better if you go for it then if you are too scared and hold back.

You're video is "private" apparently. Change your Youtube privacy settings and try again.

EDIT: You're actually really good. You do sound a bit pitchy in places. Just practice on hitting the right notes and you'd make an awesome lead singer.
