The problem with the Lakers?

Nash and Gasol can still do what they do. Ron World Peace Artest can still do his thing. Dwight Howard at 85% is still the best center in the league.

Kobe doesn't know how to play basketball. He will tare his own team apart if he's not kept in check. Phil Jackson was able to do it, which is a testament to his greatness. Mike Krzyzewski is using him for what he's mentally cut out to be; a role player, which is what he was under Shaq when the Lakers were at their best.

How coach K gets him to accept that role I don't know, but if the Laker's coach can't do that, the Lakers will not win in the playoffs.

Sorry Laker fans. If Kobe can't resolve himself into a role player, it doesn't matter who you have on the team, Lakers championships = 0. I.e. Phil Jackson isn't walking through that door.

Are you high? Kobe was a role player during his years with Shaq? In 2001 up until the finals Kobe Bryant averaged around 36 ppg, Shaq 27ppg. In 2002 relatively the same numbers. Shaq gets all the credit because he teared it up in the Finals, but Kobe is the one who got them there.

You're insulting one of the greatest players to ever play this game. He was such a ballhog last year because the Lakers were an atrocity on offense. Mike Brown can't run an offense. They ran the shot clock down 20 seconds and then they would give the ball to Kobe so he can operate with 4 seconds left. That will not happen with Nash and Howard on the team. And, last time I checked, last season the attitude and maturity issues were with Bynum, not Kobe.

In my eyes, the Lakers got rid of a cancer in Bynum and picked up the best center in the league as well as a decent backup point guard in Duhon. Thats a win-win situation.

Now that Kobe has more threats on his team, expect him to play much more passively.

Don't talk about basketball if you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
