My dog howls when i howl...explanations?
if my dog is ever bored, begging, or for whatever reason whining or whimpering, and i begin to mimick the sound shes making, which is normally a long whine or almost howl, she begins to howl. Sometimes she and i will howl for a few minutes at a time haha. why does she do this? why does she howl with me haha its so strange?

Hmm it could be that she is trying to get your attention and when you begin to howl she might feel she is not being heard and trys to howl over you.
Dogs also have a pack mentality and they have an order of heirachy so if you are head of the house she will see you as leader of the pack or if you feed her etc she will see you as the leader and will simply be joining in on your actions.

I do that to XD Your dog probably thinks your part dog or something. Or maybe he is trying to have a dog convorsation with him?
