Why is Fred Thompson actor and Republican politician hawking "Government backed"?

Reverse Mortgages "? How is this possible ? "Government Backed" goes against everything they stand for, even if stealing the largest form of wealth/equity of the middle class is exactly what they stand for.

    Did ya not notice that Republicans lie? And that they lie a lot??? The so called "Government Back reverse mortgages are mostly a scam and as a loyal Republican Fred Thompson is a fan of scams that rob ordinary Americans of their money.
