Why does my Laptop turn off everytime I take out the charger? PLEASE HELP.?
I do not understand what is happening. My charger is plugged in and the computer does not charge. It has been plugged in for a few hours now and if I unplug it it turns off. What is wrong with my computer and how can I fix it? Thank you for your help.

Sounds like the battery has died. Seems that the AC/dapter/charger is okay being your computer works when it's plugged in. A new battery would most likely solve the problem.

You might want to take a look at your charger. There might be a little slit in the charger. This has happened to me before, and it was because of my charger. You can wrap it up in some tight tape or get it fixed.
If the charger is fixed (if broken) you might not want to take it off of the laptop. It will turn off imaediately and it might affect the computer's system.
Hope this helps!! :))

The battery just can't hold a charge anymore. Its common for battery life to go down until it just doesn't work anymore. You will need to buy a new battery. Is your laptop less than a year old? it could be covered under the warranty so i would call your computers manufacturer and ask them about it.

It means the battery pack is dead, as in dead dead. My HP notebook has the same problem. If you go to your laptop manufacturers' website, say HP for me, they should be able to help you. Or call their number and talk to an assistant. They Gould ship you a new battery in no time. I don't know about cost though. Could be free if under warranty.

Sounds like the battery can no longer hold a charge. That's a common problem from NiCad batteries.
