2003 Chevy Silverado Service Air Bag?

I had my truck washed and detailed today... carpets and upholstery cleaned. They soaked the inside with armor all (even the plastic under the seats) and when I turned my truck on the air bag warning light was on and has not turned off yet. Do you think getting the wiring harness below the passenger seat wet can cause this? I gave it time to dry but still no luck. Also the air bag on/off display on my mirror is not displaying either on or off

Also had my windshield replaced about 5 days ago and today I noticed a slight air leak. Is the airbag computer/sensor near any place that could get wet from a leaky windshield?

Any suggestions on what I should try to reset the service air bag warning before I take it in to have it looked at?

Nope I had the same thing happen after going through the car wash on a chevy van. The middle air bag sensor on the front bumper is a pile on a lot of GM cars it is different than the ones on the sides of the front bumper, and if the resin on the back of it dries out and water gets into the sensor and shorts it out, which is what has probably happened the air bag light will come on! This means that the SRS or air bag system in your truck is deactivated meaning if you wreck the air bags will not deploy!!!

Another bit of bad news is it costs about 250 bucks at the dealer to get fixed. If you do it yourself it only costs parts and time, and then you have to get the light reset.

First, I consider tommy44432. AutoZone is impartial and will scan it as routinely as you need, free of charge. So far as Bosch goes, I've never had a challenge with their stuff. Sometimes you just get a foul phase. Occurred to me with a power window motor. Fought that thing for 2 hours on the install, after which the thing failed to work. Mostly, faulty parts make it out for resale.
