After the pads were replaced and the rotors were reserfaced on my 07 nissan murano my mechanic told me that the shaking appeared to worsen. He told me 3 things could be wrong

1. The resurfacing was done wrong and he would have them checked and resurfaced free of charge if needed

2. He should see if the rear rotors are possibly warped as hes seen this cause shutter in a steering wheel before. This would be $110

3. The front rotors are bad and should be replaced.

In that order.

if the resurfacing does not work should i have him just replace the front rotors before looking into the rear breaks and rotors?

I tried driving the car at 25mph and slowly applied the emergency break and there was no shaking or shutter on the steering wheel or car.

I drove car upto 55 applied the breaks and the shutter in the steering wheel was bad but then it lessened as the car slowed. Once i hit about 30 mph the shutter was almost gone.

Any other recommendations?

My silverado has very low end power and once up to high speed will not shift into high gear. Shifting from park to drive almost causes the tires to chirp. Autozone gave me the codes my computer was throwing out and it said I had a bad TPS and threw out about 8 different codes for the transmission.

Does anyone think the TPS could cause issues with the transmission as well? I did attempt to replace the TPS but found that mine is assembled inside the throttle body assembly so that entire assembly will need to be replaced

One mechanic has quoted me a new TPS and total trany overhaul.

Any thoughts?

I had my truck washed and detailed today... carpets and upholstery cleaned. They soaked the inside with armor all (even the plastic under the seats) and when I turned my truck on the air bag warning light was on and has not turned off yet. Do you think getting the wiring harness below the passenger seat wet can cause this? I gave it time to dry but still no luck. Also the air bag on/off display on my mirror is not displaying either on or off

Also had my windshield replaced about 5 days ago and today I noticed a slight air leak. Is the airbag computer/sensor near any place that could get wet from a leaky windshield?

Any suggestions on what I should try to reset the service air bag warning before I take it in to have it looked at?

This would be a complete career change for me. I applied for the job with no expectations but after a couple interviews and presentations they offered me a job today. I am skeptical about moving towards a "sales" position just because I have never been in that type of environment before. The company offers training for state level licenses, assigns a mentor to learn from, a small base pay after I pass the states licensing exam, and some potential leads.

Does anyone have experience in selling insurance as a financial professional and would you recommend doing so to others? What can I expect if I follow through in taking the job for say the first couple of years.

Hi all. I am looking at a school now that offers a network security and networking and systems admin associates degree. The programs also provide certification training for certs like CCNA, A+, Microsoft, etc. I took a tour of the campus and I liked it. I have been unable to find a job for sometime now so I decided to go to school full time. If I decide to go for my associates I can have it completed in 4 semesters since I will transfer in all general studies requirements for the degree.

My question is will an associates in network security or networking and systems admin with CCNA and a couple other certs be beneficial to my career or should I just go with a BS in computer science. Or can someone tell me what education they obtained to become a network security guy or system admin? Thanks

I am on spring break and want to thoroughly go over all my course material to date but the book we use is very confusing and its hard to just follow the examples provided in the book. My class is general physics - algebra based.

Can anyone suggest a good book or video that I can use to review all my physics course material. I would also like a book that is clear enough so that I can read ahead.

I got the template from host gator and I really like it and it will fit perfectly for my business but hostgators site builder does not allow this to be edited. I talked to a rep from HG and they said to make the edits using dream weaver or any HTML editor that supports WYSIWYG... I don know how to program.

I want to keep the template just the way it is but only change the text and add photos, will this be possible using the dream weaver free trail or do you recommend any other software, or a better question is should someone with no programming knowledge even attempt this?

Hi, I have a Samsung HCN653W 65in DLP/Projector (big rectangular TV) and when I turn the TV on the Red color has shifted down. The other colors are able to be calibrated but the Red is to far off to be calibrated.

Does this sound like it could be the color wheel to anyone if not what else can you recommend I look at.

We are trying to fix the TV in order to donate it so we do not want to put in a lot of money to get it fixed by a pro unless we have to.

Any ideas on the fix and a good site to order replacement parts would be appreciated.

My Whirlpool side by side refrigerator is freezing up. Below is what I have tried to resolve the issue. The temp inside the refrigerator is around 23 degrees.

I cleaned all the dust and dog hair out from underneath the fridge.

Removed back lower cardboard panel to allow greater air flow.

Unplugged the fridge for about 5 minutes and turned back on hoping the defrost would kick in.

Turned the refrigerator temp all the way to off and it still freezes. I also turned the freezer temp all the open and all the way closed and the refrigerator still freezes up.

Also the drip pan under the fridge is completely dry.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

HI I am starting weight watchers and need some advice. Below is a typical day that I plan to follow once I get started with WW. Does this meal plan look ok? It seems like a ton of food but my daily points is 42 so I am trying to stay near that number daily.

I got most of the points from online websites that offer free WW advice, hopefully the points are accurate. I never eat a lot of food, I mainly drank my calories with soda and beer and ate mostly junk food so looking at all this food to eat is a little over whelming, is this too much or should I stay with it? Going grocery shopping tomorrow so any advice on this meal plan would be great. Thanks

I am on my first week of chantix and it has helped cut my smoking down from over a pack per day to about 3 or 4 cigs.I do not feel like I have nicotine cravings (irritability for ex). but there are 3 or 4 times per day that I feel a very strong urge to smoke out of habit that just lingerers around until I cave in and smoke. I really want to be smoke free by next week.

Has anyone had this issue before and how did you cope with the urges. Also should I start taking vitamins to help my body heal after 16 yrs of smoking? Thx

Today I tried to unlock my door with my remote key fob for my truck and it did not work. I opened the driver door manually and tried to unlock the passenger door with the controls on the door and it would not work. The entire passenger door electronics (window, mirror, and locks) and keyless entry system is unresponsive.

I replaced the battery in the fob and checked for blown fuses but could not find any issues. Everything worked fine last night when I used my truck.

I am looking into starting a forum for people who have lost jobs and the frustration that they go through.

I have lost 3 jobs to overseas outsourcing "corporate greed" and will lose another next month because as my boss said its a business decision. I think that having a place to go and vent may be a good way for people to vent and offer advice. I know I would have found it helpful.

My wife and I are considering starting an online dating service that offers speed dating. I was talking to her about how hard it is for guys to get noticed on online dating sites and we came up with this idea.

Question is would you join an online dating community that one offers free profiles and emails but offers paid speed dating. Such as 30 men and 30 women in a chat room each with a web cam and every 3 to 5 minutes the viewer would switch to another member of the opposite sex that is in the chat room, and they would chat for 3 to 5 minutes and switch until each person has had time to speak to each member in the chat room of the opposite sex. After the session they would rank their favorites then each could contact others that they connected with.

Our thinking is this helps each member participating get noticed easier than the standard online dating concept.

If you had $2000 to use on a computer would you buy an Imac w/ the 27in monitor or would you buy another PC. I do not have the time to build my own PC either.

My wife wants the IMAC, I am on the fence either way. The computer will be used for internet, photos, email, and coming soon updating websites and online buisness stuff.

Ok. I am a chronic yoyo dieter. I lose weight and I know how to lose weight. I understand what to eat and what workouts to do. When I am dieting I keep hyrated but I cant stick with anything long term.

The problem is that I love the hell out of fast food, cookies, and soda. I cant go more than a couple days without them. When I am eating healthy I do not feel satisfied and I even crave junk food right after a meal.

I fear I have a food/sugar addiction. I know that I have an addictive personality. I have overcome coke, alcohol, and a smoking addiction. Now I fear that sweats and junk food is taking their places. When I go a couple days without junk food I feel very tired almost like I am hungover, its weird. Not eating junk food is harder than when I quit smoking... and that was pretty difficult.

What do you recommend for this. Should I seek professional support? I have tried it all I think, and it all works until I give into the cravings then its back to square one.

BTW been sober almost 2yrs.

I went in for a simple oil change and when I walked out it ended up costing me $100.54. I am going to make a call to the district manager but I was looking for a way to file a formal compaint against their business practices.
