Joe Biden declares he has a "health" problem that is forcing him to leave office and manage his condition. Obama names Jon Huntsman as his replacement. Huntsman a Republican who once worked for the Administration. Press release: "In a move reminiscent of Lincoln, President Obama has named a member of the opposition party to his administration.". Obama declares his "commitment to work with anybody who will put partisan politics aside and do the peoples work."
The GOP is forced to cooperate or forever be cast as putting politics head of Americas best interest.
Joe Biden returns from media isolation to declare he is cured of prostate cancer and becomes the national spokesman for preventaive screening and care,now available due to the Affordable Care Law.
Not if you like the way it works out or not, but is it too far from reality ?
Remember Rudy Giuliani the then Mayor of NYC and so popular he was called Americas Mayor,got Prostate cancer just as he was failing to defeat Hillary Clinton for Senator from NY. He was never elected to anything again,but remains a "speaker" for conservative causes.

It would seem that NOTHING is what it would seem!, especially politics! Anyway, clearly, the government actually has very little say in the running of the USA! Obviously, Wall St, bankers & insurance co's, and other hidden power factions do! So, party politics has sadly now become irrelevant! ... along with those involved in it.
So, yes ... totally plausible!

Yeah, especially considering the only thing that will save 'Bama is a trick like this, as any manager knows anyone trying to run anthing needs to pay attention to costs, income etc. 'bama has not brought forward a budget in his presidency because he does not understand one. The country is in a financial mess because of his juvenial approach to a serious problem. He is going to have to trick the electorate once again if he wants to get in as there is not any merit in his performance.
