I'm always tired, but I can't fall asleep?

I'm writing this at 2am. I'm always tired throughout the day, and I've been trying to fix my sleeping schedule, but it's not working. I went to bed at 10pm and read a book for about 30 minutes and then tried to go to bed. Ive been trying to fall asleep for almost four hours! I usually wind up falling asleep at 4 am and waking up at 1pm.

I'm 14, and I wouldn't say my lifestyle is particularly unhealthy, but I'm no fitness trainer. I drink mostly water and I do eat about one sweet a day, but nothing drastic. I work out 1-3 times a week. No matter what i do i feel drowsy throughout the day. Like im never fully energized.

I do have dysthymia though, is this why I can't sleep? Please help. :/

You should try eating a banana for breakfast and having some vitamin gummies you know to get you started full with energy Mabey even bread with peanut butter or a protein bar

Then at night try eating about 4 hours before bed. Brink a bed time tea( they really help I have insomnia and this really helps me) and try anything that has a lavender smell and put it some were around your bed the smell is suppose to relax you and eventually put you to sleep

That is related to sleeplessness. I think waking up early will help you out. Its going to suck the first week, but set an alarm for 9am and get out of bed when it rings. keep it up and you will find yourself sleeping better I think.

    Depression can cause insomnia

If you feel its really impacting your life in a negative way talk to your parents.
