What is Politial Repression and are you in favor of it?

Police brutality is wrong if they are actually brutal but in most cases police arrest a black guy and liberals scream RACIAL ABUSE!

I live in Thailand but come from the uk. Every civilized country has it to a certain extent or people would flout the law all the time.

The global media focusses on 9:11 but on the 7 Of July we had bombings caused by Al kiyeaeda, aplogies if you are Muslim and reading this I am talking about the Islamists the fundamentals not you.

Anyway back to the Bombings afterwards one of the first things the goverment did was put up a concrete ring/bomb protection.

whilst in retrpect it was a good idea what about the concerns over PUBLIC SAFETY? the uk does not seem to care about its ordinary Citizens as the US does.

Here In Thailand it there was nearly a coup 2 years ago and a real coup in 2006. Which country do i feel safer in. Here actually, there are actually less violent crimes and this is a developing country.

So the point I am making is the people here two years ago was that real Democracy or opportunists,they seem more passionate about there politics here, where in the west there is to much apathy.

I would really like your views especially if you are Muslim and live in the UK.

By the way i am a Buddhist as I was the first to bring religious into this debate I feel its only fair to disclose mine.

We are living it now in America and it will get worse if not stopped.
