My mother is cheating?

Yet another reason why you never lend your phone to anyone .... EVER, including your children.

I would give the phone back to Mom and I would tell her that she received a text and you couldn't help reading it and shake your head miserably and let her go figure out what happened.

Let her freak out with guilt and try to clean things up. No, you don't want to tell anyone else. It is her issue.

Don't tell your mom's boyfriend, yet. First, you need to find out exactly who she's texting. Maybe try calling and see if a guy picks up. But don't say anything; just hang up. Or go directly to the source: YOUR MOM. Ask her about it. Tell her you weren't snooping, but you were playing a game and the text popped up. Ask her who it is. I'd go to her boyfriend only after you know for sure. It's not fair for him to be with a cheater.

To be honest, I would confront your mom but that doesnt always work. My mom was cheating on my dad. I confronted her and she lied about and ended up fighting with me for a few months. We didnt tlak for weeks. It was true and eventually I told my dad but not exactly in a mean way. Just that I loved him and thinks he doesnt deserve it. I never found out what happened but they are still together. He forgave her and yeah shes my mom but she didnt deserve it. I think she still does cheat on my poor dad. Sigh
