What do you like or dislike most about American politics?

Like most: the level of freedom

Dislike most: the bullsh*t

The media is what I dislike the most. Politics wouldn't be so frustrating if the media wasn't constantly bombarding the public with Democratic talking points and outright lies. Instead of hearing what both sides would do about the fiscal crisis, we're being told by "journalists" repeatedly that Romney and Ryan want to kill old people, rob the poor, and roll back women's rights, and that Republicans are racists.

As for what I like the most about American politics, well, that's a tough one. I suppose it would be the fact that it's always new and relevant. It's a constantly changing battlefield on which the war between liberty and tyranny is fought.

Hell, I could write a book on that.

1. No Congressional or Senatorial term limits.

2. They can vote themselves their own raises.

3. Nobody talks about the issues (unemployment, gas prices, the drought...etc), instead we get to hear about who put a dog on the roof and who ate a dog.

4. Too much corporate money.

That was a VERY short list, but I don't want to ramble on. Oh, and those were dislikes...lol.

I am from Canada and the politics there are SO BORING it makes me want to fall asleep. So I entertain myself with American politics.

Foreign policy

It's the politicians. They treat us like we're idiots, and they think that we won't remember what they said last week.

President Obama promised to end the nonsense negative campaigning.

Looks like he didn't keep his promise.
