Girls- advice please, would you like this if it were you?

Basically i've been seeing a girl and i really like her and im pretty sure she feels the same, for instance we keep meeting each other and spending time together. And well i just know. But now she's gone away for a month to work abroad in the summer, she left on Monday and i was thinking of arranging for some flowers to be sent to her house when she comes back with just a simple message like 'glad you're back' is this a nice idea?

She's 18 and im 19, she's been gone a day and i already miss her...

Any other suggestions?
