Is there actually a God?!?! Convince me please!?
I try to believe in God, but look at all the signs. There are galaxies upon galaxies, could one entity really make all of them? And why is the world so cruel? Wouldnt God try and prevent the cruelty at least a little bit?

You are the only one who can answer your questions. You do not have to look at the universe and the cruelties of the world to find out. Look within you, imagine every part of you and its functions and learn to know if you are just born to die afterwards. What is your purpose and why do you have such nagging feeling why you want to understand.
Is it God's duty to prevent such cruelty or is it man's duty to start kindness to himself?

Have you ever asked yourself how many times you act on faith every day? The truth is, we live by faith all the time, and without faith it would be impossible to live. Let me explain.
For example, right now you are probably sitting in a chair as you read this post. But did you inspect the chair before you sat down, or did you first send it away to a laboratory to be tested? No, of course not. You believed it would hold you, probably because it's done so many times before, and you've seen it hold other people also. And yet you acted by faith when you sat in the chair. At the same time, it wasn't unreasonable for you to do so.
Faith in God is something like this. Faith in God isn't blind or unreasonable, because God has left His "footprints" all around us. As the Bible says, "Since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made" (Romans 1:20). It's far more reasonable to believe in God than to believe this incredibly intricate universe just happened.
But the most compelling evidence for God is this: He became a man! That man was Jesus, who was God in human flesh. Do you want to know what God is like? Look at Jesus Christ as He is presented in the pages of the New Testament. I promise that if you do this with an open heart and mind, your life will never be the same. http://peacewithgod.jesus.net/

You limit the actions of one individual human to that of something you clearly don't understand.
You want convincing. Go have a spiritual experience. I can set one up for you. If you want this, message me. I can set you up with some small experiences to experiment with, if you're serious.
As to the other question, let me answer that with a question: If the universe is one entity (e.g., "we are all one"), could it in fact create things within it? I believe so--your belief in this regard is your own.
The world is cruel because we deny God. We deny each other. And we even deny ourselves. If you want a compassionate world, then both live compassionately and encourage compassion.
The God that people pray to is false. God is not a person, nor even a conceptualized entity. God is literally everything. When we have gratitude simply for being alive, we are praying to God. If you want a world which is less cruel, try being less cruel and more considerate of the validity of others' beliefs, even if you disagree with the truth of them.

-If one argues, as some deeply religious individuals do, that without God there can be no ultimate right and wrong - namely that God determines for us what is right and wrong - one can then ask the question: What is God decreed that rape and murder were morally acceptable ? Would that make them so ?
While some might answer yes, I think most believers would say no, God would not make such a decree. But why not ? Presumably because God would have some *reason* for not making such a decree. Again, presumably this is because *reason* suggests that rape and murder are not morally acceptable. But if God would have to appeal to *reason*, then why not eliminate the middleman entirely ?- Lawrence Krauss, A Universe From Nothing, Pgs 171-172.
-If the Universe needs a creator, why doesn't god?
If god doesn't need a creator, why does the Universe ?-

I have yet to meet a person that can convince another that there is a god. The problem is, is that if you are unaware of the spiritual dimension all around you, how could you be convinced of the entity that rules a particular dimension?
I have a personal, one2one, relationship on a daily (if not several times a day) with my Creator. I operate with the gifts of the Holy Spirit - this is practical Christianity - not some airy fairy, sky pixie stuff.

That is free will honey our Lord does not like it when you sin or are mean to someone. But he will get rid of it in his own time so that he can select those who belong to him on those who are clearly not the children of our Lord. and 'Galaxies upon Galaxies' That's for me also a reason to believe in God. It sounds really illogical for me to believe that the Big Bang happened on its own... ( Like yep why don't we explode today so that through our explosion an planet named earth can exist ) And If you look at the Evolution theory or the origins of life... How did that One cell come to existence?

Blame satan for the sin he brought into this cruel world...
Ask GOD to "Call" you to the faith.
Matthew 22:14 ¶ For many are called, but few are chosen.
Hope this helps.

Ι have a bad and a good thought.First is that all are illusions that human make in their minds, even if it is an atheist or a believer and everything is physic. The good thought is that there is so much art and perfected world, like the shape the flowers everything and we have soul because we can feel(even if there are hormones and stuff ,in my smart mind it doesn't make sense that we feel).

There is no definite answer, but much evidence against his/her existence. Probabilities therefore dictate there is slim to no chance that there exists a god. Being scientific, I am 99.999% sure there is no god, but in science nothing is 100%

Honestly? Probably not. The universe looks exactly the way we'd expect an atheistic universe to look. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.
