At every given opportunity, they try to tell us how many scientists working for NASA are Indians, how many health professional in USA are Indians. Yes, I accept that : but would they be as successful in India ? A very resounding answer has to be,NO. If the answer, on the other hand was yes, then WHY are these scientists and doctors and other what-have-yous still working in the States and not back in India ? Why ?

The fat, ugly and obscenely rich people bellyache that they have nowhere to park their Mercedes Benz and Ferraris because the poor and homeless are sleeping on the streets and taking up their parking spaces ! Oh, how very selfish of these poor homeless to inconvenience these "powerful" billionaires !! May be I am being unfair or ignorant (or both !) but do you know of any Indian industrialist (apart from, may be, the Tatas) who can be called a philanthropist -- like a Bill Gates or a Warren Buffet ? I personally, don't. Ironically, India is among the (major ?) beneficiaries of Bill and Malinda Gate's charities -- even when India has its own countless billionaires who can do the same to improve the lives of the sick, poor and homeless of India. I mentioned Tata earlier, but did not Ratan Tata, not so long ago, donate a vast amount to a university in the USA -- rather than doing the same to an Indian institution ? Have you ever heard any of your Bollywood so-called stars or cricketers come forward to help or even speak out for these poor and homeless ? To my knowledge, no. Or is it that they ARE giving lakhs of ruppees in charities but out of sheer modesty (sorry for laughing !), do not want to make their big-hearted generosity,public ? Of course, they don't want the aam admi to know. Because their "charity" is possibly, towards the politicians and (il)legalattis (!). I mean, the judges.

I think India needs to get its house on Earth in order first, before embarking on very ambitious and financially disastrous plans of reaching far-off places elsewhere -- where they might not even arrive.
