This is what happens when you use only the data that fits your pet theory and discard the data that does not fit. In general, there is a magnitude 7 or higher earthquake somewhere on Earth every 5-7 weeks.
The media reports only a small fraction of these, most earthquakes do not make good "human interest" stories.

There is no 188 day pattern of earthquakes. This comes from various deluded and ignorant people on YouTube and elsewhere who noticed that 3 successive earthquakes in 2010 and 2011 followed an approximate 188 day interval (thus a sample of two - not statistically significant) and insist on trying to predict future earthquakes according to this pattern, occasionally tying them in with fictional planets or harmless little comets.
It's all baloney and you should pay no attention to it.

--"How many know..."?
Unfortunately, too many people have already been fooled by that hoax.
IF (a big if) it were a real theory, we would soon know of its usefulness, as the charlatans who started it have convinced their gullible followers that San Francisco will be included in the next 188-day cycle (therefore, by February 22, San Francisco should be gone, otherwise the theory is "false").

Earthquakes cannot reliably be predicted and there certainly is NOT a routine cycle they go through.

Whatever it is, it has to be total BS if it is about something that predicts earthquakes.

Who is that person called God, and on which science journal did he/she publish his/her measurements?
Source(s): You might want to consider asking at the Earth Sciences forum, since it doesn't appear to be a question about Astronomy.
