I would like to start helping the people of mexico by bringing used goods into the country to sale (vehicles, water craft, sports gear, electronics, tools, etc,) and returning to the usa with products like (arts and craft materials, raw goods ( protein whey), and bicycles just to name a few. I have researched the Vans 7.3 diesel engine and it sounds like a great one.. Though it was mostly found in F-250 and 350's (88-94) then they changed to power stroke.. The Van has 132,000 miles...

The Chevy Blazer is also diesel and is 24 volt (which is bad from what I have read) it has 90,000 thousand miles.. Both vehicles where running fine when they were retired last year.. I would imagine the government has mechanics with lots of time on there hands and that the city would or EMA would have taken better care of these vehicles than the average driver.. They just hit an age and are retired to a field to be sold a year or so later or when new vehicles arrive.. Am curious if anyone else has bought vehicles in a similar situation. I pick them up this weekend.. I have a good feeling about it as the purpose behind buying these vehicles is for the betterment of others.

is there any advantage to using many smaller engines instead of one engine for the whole car or 4 one for each wheel?
