How to heat water for tea?

Ok...so I will live in a dorm. My only source of heating will be the microwave. Coffee makers and kettles are not allowed for "building code safety regulations."

    Just put some water in a microwave safe cup and microwave on high in two minute intervals untile the water is boiling (bubbling).

    i agree with the other answer. put water in a microwave safe cup and put it in there maybe 2 minutes or 3, until it is either boiling or close to it. i make tea like this often.

    im sure you must have a kitchen in ur building ask the cook to boil it for you on the stove or somethin
