Where can I find the fuse on a Maytag Performa Dryer?
I'm not sure where to find the model number either. It's an electric dryer and I found the fuse next to what I'm amusing is the heating coil and it's giving no resistance so it's good. I'm told that electric dryers will have two fuses, I need help.

I'll, try taking off the front panel as it's shown in the video to see if I can see the fuse. Here goes.........
Both fuses are working. I even tried individually bypassing both fuses just to make sure my voltmeter was working. I know it's getting power from the wall, I forgot to flip the breaker while I was locating the first fuse and......anyways what could be the issue here?
The dryer isn't starting at all. I, also just ruled out the door switch. Could it be the harness maybe? Or some controller somewhere? How do I go about testing these?
240 V confirmed
The timer checked out. So we're looking at the harness and (very unlikely and much more expensive) the motor, right? Is there anything else that it could be? I don't even know where to begin with testing the harness.
Push to start switch tested good
I've been running through the links provided and rechecking everything and I think I've found something. The resistance on the door switch is giving some funky readings. I haven't gotten the infinite reading but it jumps around from 0 all the way up to 110+ohms. Does this mean it's the door switch?

The model number will either be on top of the console or around the opening of the dryer.

Is it running with no heat? Are you sure you have 240v going into the dryer? Here's a way to check. This will isolate it as being inside or outside the dryer

Put a temporary jumper on it and see. New switch is pretty cheap.....especially compared to the motor. Good grief! I sure hope that's it! :) :)
A wire to bypass the door switch. You complete the circuit to find out if the switch is the culprit. Put it in place with the dryer unplugged. Use tape to keep your connections secure and to prevent arcing. Once connected, plug it back in just long enough to see if it starts. Do not run the dryer this way!!!

Idont be aware of wether it's a fuel or electric dryer. Some dryers have a Thermal swap that is automatic. Heres what it does--If the dryer gets too hot it's going to shut off the dryer. It will have a red guide reset button. If the vent is clogged it's going to go back and forth off this swap. You gotta be extra explanative together with your obstacle or no one can particularly wager the answer for you.
