Why isn't AE911truth.org given any media attention?
If you read through their petition, and see the signatory's biography's and comments, it is quiet alarming that the media hasn't given this organization any coverage. Thousands of engineers and architects signing a petition for an investigation into such an important event in history should not be treated with scorn and ridicule in a civilized and educated society. Yet the organization is treated like it is a fringe conspiracy movement that doesn't deserve consideration. Why is this? Engineers are among the most highly trained professionals in the world. They study complex mathematics and physics for years, and are responsible for building the great wonders of our world. Hundreds of phd's are on this petition, which makes it even more bizaar that it isn't given any attention. To reach the position of doctorate in any field is extremely difficult, but engineering, this is in a different level.
ae911truth.org should be given media attention, and needs to be considered by the public. They even created a film called 911, Experts Speak Out, a professionally produced documentary that provides irrefutable evidence that the science behind the 911 official story is significantly flawed
I find Chris' answer to be a misrepresentation of truth. Achieving doctorate in sciences, especially engineering, is one of the most stressful events in a professionals' life. This is common knowledge. My friend would sleep at the lab office on many occasions, and constantly worry about his schooling. The physics and math of the building's collapse on 911 is not complex either, so to say that 1700 petitions signatories who are experts in physics and math is not open to further investigation, like their claims are a dime in a dozen, is quite a dichotomy, and a rather bizarre assertion. Although this is my opinion, I believe that it would be the logical opinion of any educated and civilized man or woman

There have been experts on both sides of the argument but hundreds of engineers or doctors (doctorate degree earners) are a drop in the bucket. In the real world, even degrees in engineering, medicine, pharmacy, and many more are a dime a dozen. A doctorate in any field doesn't mean you're opinion is valued in any subject. I have a PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy Degree) from one of the best pharmacy schools in the nation, and I only consider myself an expert in pharmaceutics.
Just because a few engineers believe 911 to be a conspiracy doesn't mean they all do. Most of my friends are engineers and none of them believe that conspiracy stuff. Does that mean they're right? No, but you shouldn't hold one's degree as the "end all, be all" of authority because even experts can be wrong or misguided. An engineering or any doctorate degree aren't as hard as you seem to think they are. It doesn't take a genius to get a doctorate, it takes a hard worker with moderate intelligence.

When is Michael Moore going to make a movie about what really happened on 9/11? His failure to do so is a setback to all of humanity. So long as he doesn't do it, the mainstream media is free to obey its corporate masters and keep reporting lies instead of truth. Oh well, maybe God will bring the truth out some other way via people who possess true courage.
