Long-lasting, durable slippers / scuffs...?

I really like slippers / scuffs. I wear them all year-round. However, I seem to wear them out really quickly, in under 6 months. It's usually the sole that wears out and develops holes. However, I get the really cheap ones from Walmart. Can anyone recommend a good brand that will last me for years?
