WTF you are right, your friend is lying to you. They are real, it's based on a true story. However now they don't transform since they defeated the evil decepticons. Now they just remain as automobiles. I have one in my garage, although when I asked it to transform, it turned into a pile of garbage. So now I have a transformer in my garage taking up space.
