Seagate Free Agent Go Flex External Hard Drive PC to Mac?
I bought a Seagate Free Agent Go Flex hard drive awhile back and have been using it with my Acer Laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium and this weekend I will be getting the new Macbook Pro with Retina Display 512 GB model. My question is will I be able to just use and view the data currently on the hard drive like normal? or beings its a mac will the hard drive need to be reformatted? and how should i go about getting all my music and onto my mac in order to reformat the Hard drive?
The hard drive is formatted in NTSF

If I am correct, you cant use Seagate with Mac.
I too have an Acer Win7 plus an external Seagate freeagent HDD. My buddy had a mac in college and he couldnt connect cause of it being a mac.
Plus, why would you ever go Mac? lol They suck, nothing is compatible with them. Plus you pay out the *** if it breaks anything since only THEY can fix it. That buddy had is battery die, has to pay $200 for a new one cause of parts and labour.
