Why do you continue to vote for the incumbent?

More than 3/4's of the incumbents will be re-elected

They are the problem why do you complain if you keep voting for them?

The problem is a well documented phenomenon in political science in which a institution such as congress may get very low ratings but everyone thinks that their individual member of congress is not the problem.

Actually, come to think of it, I don't think I've ever voted for an incumbent for any office. Of course, I'm a libertarian voting in the People's Republic of Maryland, so that is not exactly a fair competition.

I didn't vote for Bush and nor did many others, but those that did will not admit his or their failures, causing unemployment to spiral, destroying America's surplus, and starting a senseless war looking for nonexistent weapons of mass destruction.
