What are some good mathematics careers?

Question

I am not interested in being a teacher. But I really enjoy math and everything about it. I would like to know some decent careers that pay a decent amount. I like any mathematics especially solving problems. I am young now but want to decide on a future career. I always thought about being a pediatrician, but recently have been thinking about my love of math. I just want to explore some other career options as well.



 Also if its not too much would you list some colleges

Have you considered being a mathemetician? I'm not kidding - my neighbor is a retired mathematician. He's got a PHD and is a genius, but didnt have to worry about teaching, just inventing new mathematical theories (I'm just eliminating the obvious alternative.) 

Seriously theres always accounting, engineering or economics, all of which involve math. Acuarial science (the profession of being an actuary) uses math. Government workers of all levels have to be able to do long division. Carpenters have to be good at fractions. 

Alternatively, you could just get a sign that says "will solve equations for money" and stand by freeway ramps. Or simply start writing equations on every blackboard until you get noticed. It worked for Matt Dammon.
