Removing tools on a Leatherman Blast?
I'm currently trying to find a knifeless multitool that i carry during my daily high school life. I really like the Leatherman platform and i'm really leaning towards the Blast. I wanted to know if it was possible to have a temporary removal of the knife and saw blade on the blast to make it so i could carry it. I have been thinking about replacing the blades with some tools from an old Kick but i'm not entirely sure if this is possible. Advice?

on top of the leatherman advice, your school be it anything high school or lower won't allow nail-clippers what makes you think they will allow a "knife-less" leatherman?

Leatherman made a knifeless FUSE. This model replaces the knife with a file. The FUSE was the model between the Leatherman KICK and BLAST so it should have most of the features you were looking for in the BLAST. This is a model that has been discontinued recently but should be available on-line:

This from their website:
"Our products are designed to be disassembled by factory-trained technicians only. Repaired tools are reassembled (and the pivot posts cemented) to ensure proper tension for optimum tool performance. Attempting to disassemble a Leatherman tool yourself may result in lost components and compromised tool functionality. It may also void your warranty protection."
