PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS JOKE!?
Well, my two guy friends were having a straight joke game, one of them said "You're as straight as Elton John" and then the other said "You're as straight as the 4th of July"
I understood the Elton John one, but not the 4th of July one.. Help me out?

The big events that take place on the 4th of July are Fireworks.
Possibly that refers to how fireworks go off in many directions at one time.
The guy is off on many paths and can't seem to stay in one direction at a time.
Then again it could mean exactly that - the guy is "straight", unlike Elton John.
And then there are the other 98 ways it could mean.
I don't think it has anything to do with this joke but this is what I asked a girl from London. "Do you have the 4th of July in England?"
She said no.
Then I came back with, "What do your calendars do, go from the 3rd of July to the 5th?"
She has a great sense of humor and caught it right away.
