Make your breath slow, deep, and regular. Slowly breathe in, hold for four seconds, then slowly expel all breath from you lungs. Repeat. Slowly breathe in deeply, hold, then slowly exhale. The more you exhale, the more you'll inhale in your next breath.
It also helps to count your blessings and express gratitude to take your mind off whatever you're angry about. Slow, deep, regular breathing, with your eyes closed even--will help you focus your energy on positive things.

Workout intensly, or scream as loud as you can underwater...
Or... Blast Slipknot or any rock music as loud as you can. Slipknot's music says the things that you may be feeling and it may make you feel better. Because they say the things that you feel, your anger should then evaporate. My advise, never let a fire build inside you because it has potential to explode. Instead, release that flame little by little in a safe way by doing what I suggested. I've felt angered before and this was how I delt with it. If you let the fire burst, you could end up hurting yourself or someone.
Goodluck

Take deep breaths, stop yourself consciously, and be aware of the fact that no matter the situation, it can be worse.
