What makes you oppose Mitt Romney?

For one, his religious beliefs are hard-core homophobic, the corporations he has invested in are homophobic and he lacks conviction on most issues NOT directly related to money and predatory leveraged buy-outs since it's all on tape ready to be twisted to any political argument regarding economic priorities, "I like to fire people who provide me goods and services".

In a struggling recession malaise made worse by deliberate purse tightening by the GOP held house for over 2 1/2 years, what sort of delusional voter is going to vote for a guy who is going to do most of the following:

    1. Pat himself and Ann's dressage horse on the back at an over the top press briefing.

    2. Appoint a battalion of corporate raiders to dismantle every single government necessity program agency.

    3. Use an executive order to suspend most corporate pollution and remaining anti-corruption regulations.

    4. Replace MLK day with "hug your banker day".

    5. Replace labor day with "Koch brothers appreciation day".

    6. Eliminate the IRS and institute a flat tax that primarily affects the poor and what remains of the middle class.

    7. Institute a most favored lending status agreement with China, then immediately default on previously held debt and claim to have instantly cut the national debt in half.

    8. Create a Mitt Romney the great national holiday where only the rich get the day off, (to coincide with the rest of the year the wealthy take off already) the working class still has to report to work on that day.

    9. Cancel all regulations/legislation's signed into law by Obama retroactively so if you received money in the form of stimulus or a tax cut, you now owe Romney's government that stimulus and those back taxes you never paid.

    10. Rewrite history before it takes place to enshrine the day Romney saved the economy and selective unemployment for the rich reached 4% the moment Romney was sworn in as the 45th president.

Even if I thought he would make a good president, which I don't, I haven't been able to vote for a republican since 1988 when I last voted for GHW Bush. They have gone over the edge on just about every issue.

I have no idea what he really believes, and what he will do if he becomes president.

He only says what he needs to in order to get votes from the people he is speaking to at that moment.

Also, I am very concerned about not seeing his tax returns. Is he only becoming president to make himself more money? I don't doubt that!

I don't exactly oppose him, but I would rather see Ron Paul or even Gary Johnson as President. It's time to stop getting in all these damn wars and time to reclaim our liberty. The government is supposed to represent us, not control and manipulate us (and spend trillions doing it).

He is a plastic little rich boy that lives in a bubble and has no idea what being a common man is like. That and he's made his career on the suffering of others.

He doesn't want us to know who he is.

He denies us access to extensive tax returns which would reveal a window to his character and he changes his mind on issues too much.

I fret he doesn't even know him self. I get the impression he'll say anything on any given day pandering to the audience.

    I don't trust him.

His refusal to even consider raising taxes as part of the solution to the deficit problem.

    Hes not from my country.

I was living in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts when he was the Governor.

That experience is enough for me NOT to vote for him
