The only way to stop shooting sprees isn't to make guns 'easier to obtain,' nor to have less rules and regulations. Then idiots like you would have guns. That's not to say that guns shouldn't be readily available, they should. But we shouldn't give them away like we do drivers licenses; people should actually have to show a demonstrable personal responsibility before we license them to buy guns.

Selling guns in vending machines wouldn't generate revenue, create jobs, or allow people to exercise their 2nd amendment rights more easily at all. It's pretty clear that you have no idea what the 2nd amendment is, or why it exists.

That plan would completely kill the small arms trade

I am all for it -- Free or cheap guns for absolutely everyone until demands goes to almost zero -- Oh sure it might take a while for the eventual spike downwards but it will happen sooner or later

Everyone might get to 100 guns and just say ---- Yep 100 guns one person good enough and the buying trend would dip into singular digits so fast after that the demand for small arms would pair the industry down to almost nothing over night

Well, the criminal had a gun in violation of NYC's gun ban, so yeah, maybe a few legally armed people at the scene could have prevented it, or at least mitigated the damage.
