MTG Ruling Q about Zealous Conscripts?

Let's say my opponent has a creature in play that has a Rancor (an Aura) attached to it. I cast Zealous Conscripts, which lets me steal any permanent. If I choose Rancor, will I get to assign it to one of my own creatures?

No. You gain control of the Aura, but it remains attached to whatever it was originally attached to. In Rancor's case, that makes stealing it practically pointless, but it can matter for certain other Auras.

    Nope.

You'll just control it. Which will probably do little good in *most* cases.

There are creatures with ETB that let them seize and re-attach an Aura, but Zealous Conscripts won't help.
