MTG Quick question about Delver of Secrets?

Let's say I'm holding a Gut Shot in hand, and my opponent has an un-flipped Delver of Secrets in play. On his upkeep, I choose to let the triggered ability for Delver resolve, so he looks at the top card. Then he reveals an instant or sorcery. Does Delver's transform ability count as a triggered ability when the card is revealed? So can I respond to the card reveal with a Gut Shot before Delver transforms into a 3/2?

If you let the triggered ability resolve then it is too late because part of the resolution is to flip the Delver. You must respond to the trigger before it resolves.

No. The resolution of a spell or ability occurs without any player getting priority until the effect is completed. If you allow the player to look at the card, it is already too late, as the Delver may be flipped before you get another chance to cast a spell.

You're not the first to answer the question.

But choosing to let it resolve is a problem. That means it'll happen.

Of course the transformation goes on the stack, just like every other transformation.
