Could there conceivably be an opposite disease to progeria?
We already have opposing body conditions, like giantism to dwarfism, total baldness to total hair covering every square inch, etc. Progeria is that rare one that cause the body to accelerate aging so that a 13yo boy has the body of an 80yo man. If there was an opposing "disease" of repressed aging, then how could that person/persons be detected. I know this sounds like an episode from Twilight Zone, but I keep thinking about the possibility.

Very possibly. Go to the links below - there's a person named Brooke, who has stopped aging at about age 4 or so - but she's almost an adult. Some researchers feel sure that if they can figure out Brooke's problem, they can find the key to "eternal youth". (Unfortunately, she has stopped growing mentally, as well).

Probably there is. Only yesterday evening (28.09.2014) I was going through a Bengali serial Adalat in Aakash Aath channel where the defence councel Mr K D Pathak was describing about the heinous crime committed by apparently a ten years looking boy who was actually an adult of age 34 . Because of his rare & peculiar genetic malfunction syndrome (though the name was referred to but I could not get it properly) , he could commit the crime and the people including the public prosecutor could hardly believe tat a boy of 10 years age could do the same. A medical certificate was also produced in the court.
I understand it is fictitious story but the base of the medical fact which Mr Pathak described is not fictitious..
