You would need to hand feed the pups. Don't use milk or milk replacements-these do not have the right "mix" of nutrients guinea pigs need and could lead to digestive problems. While it's best for pups to drink their mother's milk, it is possible to give them solid foods. They are capable of digesting them shortly after birth (in fact you may see them eat solid foods even if they have no problem getting milk from their mother). If your pups won't eat then you will need to begin hand feeding them with Critical Care or a homemade pellet mash (link with directions below). Usually weaning is between 2-3 weeks.

If the mother is unable to nurse due to illness or death, place the orphans with a foster guinea pig mother if at all possible. If this is not an option, hand raising is necessary. Be aware that people are not the best substitutes for guinea pig moms. Orphan raising can be difficult and unrewarding.

Orphans should be fed from an eyedropper or pet nurser within the first 12 to 24 hours of life. Feed every 2 hours around the clock for the first 5 days. At that time, feedings can be reduced to every 4 hours. Over the course of the next 2 weeks, feeding times can gradually be less frequent.

Feed the orphan pup equal parts water and evaporated milk. Be aware that many pups not receiving sow's milk in the first 3 to 4 days of life do not survive.

Offer guinea pig pellets soaked in water from the first day of life. At around the second day of life, the pup may begin nibbling on the food. Continue offering milk despite eating solid food until the pups are weaned at 21 days.

do not provide your guinea pigs milk. it incredibly is genuine that they are mammals and consequently produce milk for his or her youthful, yet cow milk isn't made for them, it incredibly is not made for persons the two. in case you prefer to offer them something different than water, provide them Tang. Guinea pigs are companies to scurvy, so the diet C they gets from Tang is nice for them. in case you do provide them a water bottle of Tang, make sure they have a widespread bottle of water too.
