How can I read my kindle fire in sunlight?

i have a kindle fire and next week i am going back to school. at lunch i like to read, but its really sunny outside since we don't have anything to sit under. how can i reduce the glare of the screen? (i'm not buying a new kindle or a nook, so don't suggest that please)

    There are some anti-glare screen protectors available. They can only do so much against really bright light, though.

    Max brightness is the only thing I can think of besides finding some shade.
