Ideas for my birthday suprise to my granny?
My granny lives in a nursing care facility and I was hoping to maybe bring her favorite type of dog ( scottish terrier ) by there for a visit. I know I can bring it by the facility but I don't own this dog.. I was wondering if there are any places that may lend out animals or perhaps an spca or a site where I can find that animal to be rented out to me for a day? I at least need some ideas to get this type of dog for like at the least 4 hours. Maybe there is a website that already has daily animal visits to places so I don't actually have to pick it up. I have no idea..
I live in the Houston TX. Her facility is in the woodlands. Any help much appreciated.

Houston is a big city. Most likely you can find someone there who has a Scottish Terrier that is a certified therapy dog and will take the dog to visit your granny. Do some research. Contact organizations such as

No one is going to give you, a stranger, their dog for a few hours.
However, talk to her facility and find out if there are therapy dogs that come to visit. Call the local kennel clubs and ask if they were affiliated with any therapy dogs who could visit. Make a donation to the club.
