Getting started on a screenplay?
I've been meaning to write one for a while, but I have no idea where to start. How to organize the plot is the key thing I looking for here.

Start with the most interesting characters. People don't seem to realize just how important characters are. characters with personality. Original Star Trek series would suck badly if the characters weren't there. Think about it. All your favorite stories have awesome characters that you love, root for, friendship, feel sorry for, tug on your heart strings, hate and want to see get whats coming to them etc;. Use stories from real life. Your life, a friends life, etc;. make a good start, a good middle, and a good ending. Then fill in the rest. Learn tricks that other movies use.
You can also purchace books with screenplay's in them. study those. example...Star Wars Annotated screenplay by laurent bouzereau.
