    Most people think that it was Geo.Bush, Sr., when he was running

    for president in 1988.

    They are, of course badly mistaken, since they mis-heard him.

    What he actually said was:

    "Read my lips. No nude Texans."

    He did, of course sign off on new forms of taxation, when the legislation

    crossed his desk in the White House.

    George Herbert Walker Bush. He said, "Read my lips - no new taxes." And then he raised taxes shortly after he moved into the White House.

    What all these people don't want to admit to is the more recent President, Obama did as well.
