Turtle tank is leaking can we speed up the silicone drying process?

We have no good place to keep the poor turtle while we're waiting for his tank to dry enough to use the silicone and then wait for the silicone to dry...

What can we do?

The silicon is activated by air and only time is needed for it to cure as it is a chemical action. You could try using a fan or the cool setting on a hair dryer, but remember, NO HEAT! Added heat can cause the outside to set, but not the innards, and therefor it will continue to leak.
