LED Monitor-TV or LED TV?
What are the basic differences between a LED Monitor-TV an a LED TV? Which is preferable when it is about 70% PC use and 30% TV use? And finally, what are the pros and cons of each one?
@JD Yes I'm talking about a monitor with a built-in tuner.
For example if it is a 1920x1080 resolution and I watch a channel which transmits in 480p, will it have bad picture? Of course, when it comes to tv, the viewing distance will be longer than 1.5 meters
*At this time I am using an old TFT 5:4 monitor, and the max resolution available in my PC's settings is 1280x1024. If I plug in the widescreen, will more resolutions that are compatible with widescreens appear?

moniter-tv?
Are you talking about a monitor...with a tv tuner in-built or something?
If it's mainly pc use, then a monitor would be better.
The thing is, a monitor sucks at displaying resolutions that aren't native to it, while a TV does a much better job of it due to better scaling hardware.
So if you're going to be watching channels that don't output at your monitors natural resolution, it's not going to be as clear as it would be on a tv. However monitors come in much larger resolutions than TVs do, so what you view on PC can be clearer on a monitor then it could on a TV.
Your choice.

the only real difference is price and the connections that you can use with the tv.
monitor-tvs typically have DVI HDMI and VGA ports as well as your standard tv composite, YGB, and sometimes usb.
