Mathematics - Is there a sign for ............. ?
We have a sign for continuous multiplication (!) called factorial
e.g. 1 x 2 x 3 x 4 x 5 = 5! or n!
Is there a sign for continuous addition ......... too and its nomenclature?
e.g. 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 = 5(?) or n(?)
Thanks in advance.

Σ(i)
for 1 to 5 you write
below the capital sigma you write "i = 1"
above the capital sigma you write "5"
note Σ(i) for i=1 to n = (n/2)(n + 1)

Just do this let's say you had 20393 as your number 1+20393=20394*20393/2. So
(X+1)*(X/2) You have too round the division down as well.
