gender scan confusion, pls help make your guess, did anyone go through this?
I have a 3 year old boy, pregnant with #2. I thought a girl this time should be good. At around 14 weeks my nausea was gone. Pregnancy was same like last time so I thought it would be boy again. Had a 2d scan at 15 weeks by a obgyn, he tried for long time, as the cord was between legs and could'nt see any boy bits he said it might be a girl, but asked me not to fix on it. Later I had a scan at 17-18 weeks (I'm getting more scans as I have cervical fibroid) again baby was not in position so doc said lets assume its still the same. My girl feeling became strong. At 20 weeks, had a anamoly scan, by a different doc, who saw boy bits said could be boy, baby was moving a lot, said will confirm next month. Its a emotional roller coaster for me, Now I don't mind boy or girl, just want confirmation soon :(

I think it was difficult to tell with Yur 1st 2 scans due to position/stage of pregnancy and no one knew for sure but at Yur 20wk scan the doc said could see boy bits so I would go on this for the meantime. Goodluck

Either is good so don't stress about it. Girl bits can often look like boy parts in the scans (weird right?). My cousin was told defiantly a boy but baby came out a girl! The scans are wrong 5-10% of the time. A healthy baby is what you want! Good luck x
