Do Muslims know what love is?

I don't think so.

I've heard many Christians who evangelize to Muslims say how perplexed Muslims are with the idea of a God of love.

Aquinas was a nut who tried to prove that God exists and failed. Love is biology's way of making sure we reproduce. Everyone has it.

Love is wanting someone else to succeed. It's nothing to do with sex or lust. You can love your neighbor, or your children, or your teacher, without sex being part of it.

Love is a human attribute. Muslims are humans, so they know what love is and are capable of the emotion.

That just made me laugh. What would make you think we don't love? Yes, we DO LOVE. just because it is considered a sin in Islam to date someone, or to sleep with someone if we're not married to them doesn't mean we don't/can't love. Just because a person doesn't publicly show love to his partner, just because he chooses to do it privately between him and his partner, doesn't mean he doesn't know what love is XD
