How to travel on a plane with a skateboard?
I'm going to Las Vegas NV and San Diego CA soon and am bringing my Penny board. I have never traveled with a skateboard before so I need to know what I need to do. I already know I can take it as a carry on, but how do I get it through security? Oh and does anyone know any good street skate spots in Las Vegas by Treasure Island Hotel and Casino? (Just wondering)

i know on united they'll let you take anything shorter than 45" or so, so no problems there. on big planes they put it in a cabinet for me. on smaller ones for short flights i just slid it between the seat and the window.
