Facebook - The air of mystery has died for many....?
Constantly surprised at the amount of personal information people lay bare. E.G ' We are off on our holiday tommorow until the 20th August!', which translates as, 'Come on over and burgle us!, you have 3 clear weeks to do so!'. And, 'I hate my job and in particular my manager whom I suspect is actually a prostitute!', 'please feel free to sack me for slander on Monday!'. What is up with people?!.I obviously do not post anything iffy on facebook myself but am incredulous as the amount of people who do. BTW, I know of a friend who announced that she was 'off to ASDA now followed by dinner in a local restaurant', who later posted, 'I have been burgled', well.... duh!

Has it taken you that long to realise people are more stupid then they look?
Some people are so dangerous with their own and other peoples personal
information they should never be allowed within 30 feet of a computer
connected to the internet let alone a keyboard.
They're also the type of people who put up all sorts of things on FB and the
like and then wonder why it comes back and bites them in the arsé!

I agree with you completely. I have come to realize my respect I used to have for people is slowly dieing since joining facebook. I have most peoples updates or 'news feeds' -help us all, blocked because they are so stupid - most of whom are 'educated' with degrees as well. Out of a carefully maintained 100 'friends' I'll admit only 25 max I'd call so in real life.
What I don't get is how others don't see that they are now corporate sponsors when they click they 'like' a product of company and I'm faced with their adds!! very annoying how people are so stupid on it and cant think for themselves.
Another example of it's influence on people is I was in a shop with a friend and we bought a new type of drink and after I said I liked it, he did as well, I could see him reach for the phone I knew immediately he was searching fb to 'like' this drink! He denied it but when I grabbed the phone there it was. This just shows how facebook has even hijacked the word like as when i said it that's what clicked in his head. Facebook is brainwashing us, owning us.
Also listening to couples trainwreck relationships and terrible parenting across facebook is just pathetic - thankfully she's a long time ex!!!
p.s. I don't trust fb with my details - this email change without consent! no wonder a college couldn't contact me, it's not there - my original gmail!
Source(s): Rant over. conclusion: The internet is making us very stupid.
