I see it in most retail jobs i have been in before compared to other job roles there seems to be alot of gay people in retail management. is there a correlation between managing people and being gay?

When i go to the gym I always notice the same people despite being in good physical shape compared to me anyway! being insecure about their body image through their body language and how they talk they come across as always comparing themselves to others. I'm skinny and i know I am that's who i am, but i seem to have more confidence than these guys i talk to. But when they are around groups of men they act macho and hard - which gives away their insecurity in my eyes even more. Why do you think these men have such body issue problems despite looking good and being healthy physically?

I've bought budget laptops up untill now but cheap is cheap i now realise they had crap plastic bodies and the screens broke first. Now i want a good quality laptop.

I've been to my local computer shop but they are pretty poor quality build wise and all shiny screens. Whenn i pointed this out they left me as there was no sale coming!. I work in a modern all windows building and seemingly miles of ceiling lights so reflection is a big problem.

Ok I am gay but not camp. The question is about campness not gayness. I know straight men who are camp. What I wonder is where does it com from how does it develop? I see it as a spectrum like i do sexuality. Some people are very camp others a little, some people are more camp around certain people. Why is this ? I know gay men who are camp and I think it is like a defence mechanism in a reversable way almost where they play the role that they think is expected and if they are criticised they complain about it despite not always being as camp as they portray themselves.

One thing I have noticed is how men who have no father figure around and grow up with may be only mother parent are more likely to be camp. But many who have fathers around (albeit maybe emotionally absent fathers) can be camp as well. But this isnt always the case at all so although contributing to campness I don't think it explains it.

Also how does more masculine women often lesbians relate to this? what does the reversal of typical behaviors mean?
