Veins and arteries have opposite function in our body. Both these are collectively called VESSELS
ARTERIES: carry oxygenated blood from heard to the whole body. The largest artery is AORTA which is connected to heart and involves in oxygenated blood supply. All arteries contains oxygenated blood except PULMONARY ARTERY which take deoxygenated ( blood without oxygen) blood from heart to lungs for oxygenation.
VEINS: They collect deoxygenated ( blood without oxygen) from whole body and bring it back to heard for oygenation. All vein contains deoxygenated blood except PULMONARY VEIN which take oxygenated blood from lungs back to heart for pumping to whole body.
