How is a lim f(x) calculated if f is a polynomial function?

I don't know what to say for this question. PLEASE HELP FAST. Need answer now!!!

    Just plug it in.

    if its a polynomial divided by a polynomial,

    factor and then cancel, so that you do not end up with a 0 in denominator with direct substitution

    Polynomials are continuous so the limit at a point is equal to the function at that point

    so lim_x->a f(x) = f(a)
