Deferment of student loan payments?
Can someone direct me to a site that explains options for deferment or reduced payment on student loans? Is it even possible or just difficult to do? My wife had to leave school owing about 30k in loans. She's only been out of school for a month and we don't know when she'll be billed. She works part time and can't afford huge payments, nor can I afford to help her. My paychecks go to keeping us afloat so I'm also curious if they'll come after me for this. We're happy to pay what we owe, we just can't right now.
Josh, you're an idiot; thanks for adding to the negativity of the situation. She has a part time job but its not going to be enough. By your statement we should bother to try for something better. Get a life.

After you leave school you get 6 months until the bills start coming. Once they do, if they are government loans you can get on an income-based repayment plan that might reduce the payment amounts.

If she's not in school she needs to get a full-time job, or a 2nd part-time job, and stop making excuses.
Nobody twisted her arm to take out those loans, like any loan she has an obligation to pay it.

it's going to be hard besides the indisputable fact that it truly is plausible. you're doing some thing surprising for society studying to be a instructor. i imagine our instructors truly are not getting each of the acceptance they deserve. with any success a miracle will come your way
