  • Number on an old crate. Help finding owner?

I have an old crate from a thrift shop. Hand-written on the bottom is USS Boxer CVA-21 AN-436-90-36, belonging to a Van Der Werff in San Francisco. I understand the Boxer identification but can't reference the owner. Does AN-436-90-36 help?

  • Mild rash from eating mushrooms?

My wife has allergies to shellfish and hot peppers, but we thought that was all. This week about 2 days after eating portabella mushroom and a day after eating oyster mushrooms she developed a rash on either side of her mouth she says makes her look like the Joker. All the info Ive read says mushroom allergies are quick to happen (not 2-3 days) and are not located only in one spot. We can't figure out what she's eaten that would do this. I take great care in cleaning/ checking everything to avoid anything she is allergic to coming in contact with her. Mushrooms are the only new food she's had, but she's eaten them in other types of dishes. Help?

  • Exorcism: strictly catholic?

I understand the Catholic Church still practices exorcism, but there are other cultures (non Christian) who record possessions. Is there a website for this? Surely if there are demons they don't all respond to purely Catholic methods.

  • Eating crawfish; how much is safe?

I generally cook and eat only the tail meat, but I see folks eating or sucking out the meat in the body and claws as well. I always thought the body portion was unhealthy. The crawfish we get here are so small I''d like to maximize the edible portions. How much of these little mudbugs are safe to eat?

  • Odd topic: Crayfish Farming?

My wife and I love Cajun food and are deeply involved in the cooking. Crayfish (crawdads or crawfish) are a staple in so much of this. We live in the Pacific Northwest where crawfish are 10 bucks a pound. I'm interested in a crawfish hatchery to grow and provide crawfish locally. I've tried groups like SCORE.ORG but its a really odd request and no one has any info. Tried Aquaculture, fisheries and even crawfish farming...no joy. Does anyone have a solid link to crawfish farming? I plan to get some property and start small. Thanks!

  • Salsa / Hot Sauce creations?

My wife and I have grown and sold hot peppers for a few years now, as well as used them in home cooking. We'd like to explore salsa and hot sauce that's marketable, but there are thousands on the shelves. Any advice as to how to make ours stand out and / or how to really cook up the tastiest stuff is greatly appreciated.

  • Roulette tips, anyone?

I love roulette, but play mostly on line at no cost to get a feel for it. the times I've actually played I do really well for awhile and then tank. As a game of chance, is there anything I can do to improve my game? I do watch the table closely for odds/ evens and which field is most often prevalent, but any help is appreciated.

  • Necrosis Filovirus : Possible or just sci-fi?

There are a number of books out addressing a supposed Necrosis FiloVirus. It , in theory, causes dementia, loss of speech and motor skills, attacks the flesh causing decay and is transmitted thru scratches and bites. I understand that this is totally theoretical and bordering on fantasy. But my question is, what is out there in favor of this theory? How much of this is semi-factual or possible and how much is sci-fi? Responsible and factual answers only, please.

  • Deferment of student loan payments?

Can someone direct me to a site that explains options for deferment or reduced payment on student loans? Is it even possible or just difficult to do? My wife had to leave school owing about 30k in loans. She's only been out of school for a month and we don't know when she'll be billed. She works part time and can't afford huge payments, nor can I afford to help her. My paychecks go to keeping us afloat so I'm also curious if they'll come after me for this. We're happy to pay what we owe, we just can't right now.

  • Legitimate ways to detox / heal a fatty liver?

I've been diagnosed with a fatty or marbled liver with mild infiltration. Now, the Doc says "eat better and exercise" but won't give any details. Friends advise pills and patches to help detox the liver but none of those items have been proven to really work. So. Diet and exercise? What kind? Foods, liquids? Already off the alcohol that contributed to this but I need a game plan rather than doing something that, while healthy, doesn't contribute to healing.

  • Playful Bondage Questions?

Okay, other groups can't seem to handle this on YA. My wife and I are playing around with the idea of playful dominant/submissive stuff just for us. All the sites we find are geared toward Humiliation, fake rape, group bondage, pain and torture, which is a total turn-off. Are there any sites out there NOT geared toward hurting your partner or having to have 5 guys on one girl!??

  • Cougars vs Pedophiles?

Just curiouos...why is it that women over 40-50 can hit on (and get) 20 yr old boys and be called Cougars...respected...even have a TV series!...Yet 40-50 yr old men who go for 20 yr old girls are "pedophiles" or creepers and are considered disgusting? I am 48 with a 21 yr old wife..there is no "gold-digging" since I work for a living...and she is a full time student....the maturity level rocks; we have all the same likes for history, art, music...and sex is amazing...so why do guys get persecuted while women are treated as celebreties??

  • Playful Bondage Question?

My wife and I are experimenting with fun bondage games and styles. However we are not into humiliation, pain, or group abuse. Are there sites we can go to that don't cater to fantasy-rape, assault, humiliation and are just more dominant/ submissive? This may be the wrong group, but I notice folks here are way more open and honest.
